What is Colores?

Colores is a free color-memory game for anyone who wants to see hue, saturation, and brightness more precisely — designers, photographers, painters, or just the curious. Practice with fresh random colors anytime, or take the Daily challenge: the same five targets for everyone each day, so you can compare notes with friends without spoiling the puzzle.

How to play

  1. Watch the target color fill the card — it disappears after a few seconds.
  2. Recreate it from memory: drag around the hue ring and inside the saturation–brightness square.
  3. Lock in your answer to score it and move to the next color.
  4. After five colors, share your score — never the answers.

Why train your eye

Color memory — holding a hue in mind and mixing it back — is a trainable skill, not a talent you either have or don't. A couple of minutes a day matching colors sharpens the same looking skill that helps with picking paint, judging a photo, or noticing when a palette is off.
