Everything you need to know before playing Colores.
Colores is a free color-memory game: you study a target color, then recreate it from memory using a hue ring and a saturation-brightness square. It trains your eye for hue, saturation, and brightness the way Wordle trains word recall.
Watch the target color fill the card — it disappears after a few seconds. Recreate it from memory by dragging around the hue ring and inside the saturation-brightness square, then lock in your answer to score it and move to the next color. After five colors, you get a score you can share without spoiling the answers.
Daily gives everyone the same five target colors each day, so you can compare scores with friends without spoiling the puzzle. Practice generates a fresh random set any time, with no limit on attempts.
Difficulty changes how forgiving the scoring is and how close your recreated color needs to be to the target to earn full marks. Hard rewards more precise color perception.
Yes. Colores is free, with no account, login, or purchase required to play.
No. Colores has no accounts or logins. Your device generates its own anonymous id to track daily attempts, and nothing is tied to your name or email.
Your score is based on how close your recreated color is to the target across hue, saturation, and brightness. Closer matches earn more points, and the exact target colors are never revealed in a shared score.
Native iOS and Android apps are in development. For now, Colores is playable free in any web browser.
